Save the Date–Bike and Roll to School Day: October 16
Leave the car at home on October 16! Live Oak is again teaming up with the SF Bicycle Coalition and SF Safe Routes to School for Bike and Roll to School on Friday, October 16. Students are encouraged to bike, scoot or skate to school. Walking and taking public transportation are also celebrated. We will have bike parking in the gym for the day. Kids are encouraged to create a license plate for their bike with their name and grade for easier identification. Please plan on picking up your child's bike when you pick up your child that afternoon. Read more below.
To ride with a group, choose the meetup location that works best for you. No location near you? Let us know and we can work with you to set one up. We ask that parents either accompany their child or coordinate directly with another parent who is riding to ensure everyone's safety. Note that ALL bikes must approach from Carolina Street.
